About Stephanie
Stephanie Neufeld is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner of New Mexico Family Medicine in Moriarty, New Mexico. She is committed to providing compassionate, personalized primary care to patients of all ages throughout the East Mountains and surrounding rural communities.
Stephanie believes patients deserve a healthcare provider who listens carefully, explains treatment options clearly, and considers the whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. Her goal is to build long-term relationships with her patients and help them feel confident, informed, and involved in their healthcare decisions.
Education
Stephanie began her healthcare career as an emergency medical technician before becoming a registered nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2020. She later completed her post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner education in 2022.
Her education and professional background have provided experience in emergency care, labor and delivery, school nursing, public health, nursing education, and primary care.

Stephanie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan.

Professional Experience
Stephanie has worked in healthcare for more than a decade in a variety of clinical and educational settings. Her experience includes emergency medical services, emergency nursing, labor and delivery, school nursing, public health, nonprofit healthcare, nursing education, and family medicine.
She has also served as a nursing instructor and clinical preceptor, helping prepare future nurses and family nurse practitioners for patient care.

Her connection to the area allows her to understand the people, families, and communities she serves on both a personal and professional level.
